Drug Uses
Pepcid AC
maximum strength is used in the treatment and prevention of heartburn
How Taken
Take one tablet with water for relieving heartburn symptoms. To prevent
heartburn symptoms before eating or drinking take one tablet at least 10-60 minutes before.
This comes in prescription and nonprescription forms.
If in a liquid suspension, shake well before taking your dosage.
Warnings/Precautions
Pepcid AC maximum strength can cause some dizziness, use precautionary measures
when driving or around machinery until you know how you are affected by this medication.
If pregnant then this medication should not be used.
Missed Dose
Take as soon as dosage is remembered, if too close to another dosage then skip missed dose.
Pepcid
AC Maximum Strength Side Effects
Dizziness, headache, diarrhea, irritability and constipation are all possible
side effects of Pepcid AC maximum strength.
Storage
This medication should be stored between 68-86 degree F temperatures.
Overdose
Call your local poison control if an overdose is suspected or go to the emergency room for care.
